In the Puppy/Pet Foundation Course you will learn how to teach your dog:
  • Walk nicely on a Loose Lead. 
  • Come when called, even when distracted. 
  • Leave/Come away from things on command. 
  • Stay on Command. 
  • Play and Interact. 
  • Go into a Down position at a Distance upon Command. 
  • Watch and Pay Attention to You when needed. 
  • Sit, Down & Stand positions. 
  • General Socialisation (with Dogs and People etc) and Care.

One of our Highly Trained Instructors will visit you in your home for an hour long visit, covering advice on House Training, Basic Training, Diet, Socialisation and Care, Exercise, Dogs and Children, Puppy Biting/Mouthing, Etc.  
You also then receive 28 days free back up advice from the Instructor by Telephone.
Cost just £60.00 (As long as within 10 mile radius of an Academy Branch if further please contact us for a quotation).

1-2-1 Home Training Visits: 
One of our Highly Trained Instructors will visit you at your home or local park for an hour long visit, covering any training areas you need addressing such Recall, Walking to Heel, Greeting Manners, Mild Behaviour Issues, introducing Dogs to Children etc. 
You also then receive 28 days free back up advice from the Instructor by Telephone.
Cost just £60.00 (As long as within 10 mile radius of an Academy Branch if further please contact us for a quotation).

"We have just brought home a new boxer puppy, I know they have a reputation of being a handful so on good advice from a friend, we called on Russell for some 1 to 1 training. Russell supplied us with loads of information and also demonstrated a few training tricks too. Bob is now sitting on command. He will also "leave" items when told. A miracle for a 9-week old puppy! Russell also gave good advice on feeding and exercising Bob. We are going to join the puppy classes, and are looking forward to learning more. We cannot recommend Russell and The Academy enough; they really know their stuff! Fantastic job!"

Puppy Home Visits

For puppy home visit, one of our highly trained instructors will visit you in your home for an hour-long visit covering advice on house training, basic training, diet, socialisation and care, exercise, dogs and children, puppy biting and mouthing.
You also then receive 28 days' free backup advice from the instructor by telephone. The cost is just £50.00 as long as you are within a 10 mile radius of an academy branch. If your location is further away, please contact us for a quotation.

If your location is further away, please contact us for a quotation. *Please note that this service is for single training issues and will last an hour with one of our qualified Instructors. If you have Behaviour Issues please contact us for a quotation as you will need to be seen by one of our Behaviour Specialists which will be either Russell or Juliet and will require a longer, more in depth consultation.
